How To Backup A WordPress Website

We will use Dropbox and the Updraft Plus WordPress Backup plugin.
You always want to do a backup before doing updates or moving a website. The files are stored in the APP/folder in Dropbox.
The best practice is to periodically check your backups into a test account to make sure that they are good backups so that you actually need your backup and find out when it is too late that the backup itself is no good.
This is not a good method for a backup when you cannot login to the WordPress control panel however. There are other ways of doing a backup (or restore for that matter) should that be the case.
We will use the UpdraftPlus. The paid version is not necessary.
